About Harriet...

Since the age of 4, Harriet has had a passion for horses. Learning to ride at a local riding school, Harriet continued her passion with horses going onto loaning horses, being part of the pony club competing in one day events, showjumping and dressage. From the age of 14 was when Harriets' life began to change, the introduction of the Arabian horse. This was the beginning of something very special, Harriet began her Arabian journey with a private show yard, where the yard grew and Harriet began to run the whole yard and look after and train in the end the 7 Arabians. This was where Harriet learnt all about the Arab, and her passion for the Arabian horse grew.

In 2010, Harriet spent 3 years at university studying a Bsc Degree in Equine Management, graduating in 2013 with a 2:1. Alongside Harriets degree, Harriet passed her BHS exam and continued working at the show yard producing all the horses to top level inhand and ridden competing up to International level and qualifying for The Horse of the Year Show 4 years running. Harriet over the last 4 years has had massive success with the Arabs, to name a few; winning the Horse of the Year Show Tagg La Liga Award two years running for riding and producing the most consistent horse that season, Winning Gold Ridden Mare Champion at the UK Internationals in 2014, qualifying and winning at the British Arabian Championships two years running and taking Reserve and Overall Supreme Champion in 2013 and 2014. Harriet has also had success at inhand receiving many first at county and regional level shows and also achieving UK Gold inhand Champion in 2014.

 

In 2015 Harriet had a very successful show season, a few major highlights included, qualifying for Horse of The Year Show, taking the Supreme British National Champion title at Malvern and also winning for the third year running the British Arabian Championships and topping it with the Overall Supreme title!

Harriet now wants to continue her success with more clients and horses within the Arabian but also other breeds. Harriet has a calm and loving approach with each horse she works with, and likes to build up that one to one relationship that they all need in order to achieve their best. Harriet uses join up in her training to build up a rapport with the horse, a respect and trust that is needed to get that one to one relationship.
