"I decided to send my 5 year old thoroughbred x Connemara (Tintin) to Harriet at the beginning on November 2015.  The original plan was for him to stay for 4 week, but this soon changed to 6. I sent him to Harriet as I was unable to ride for a month due to back pain so we wanted to keep him ticking over till I could ride again, but also from buying him as an inexperienced youngster he turned into a completely different horse from when I first tried him out.  He would back off the leg and throw himself around to try and get out of work, and me being of a slight build along with the back pain he began to start winning and realised he could throw himself around and scare me to get out of work.

So I sent him to Harriet and I could not recommend her enough.  She has done a fantastic job with my boy, and when I finally got back on him I felt so much safer than I did before.  She has taught me how to deal with his tantrums the way she has been doing during his 6 weeks of schooling and because of this his tantrums have become a lot less and he is producing some amazing work in the school.  He feels so much lighter in the hands, and he is more off the leg.  He has turned into such a pleasure to ride and this is due to Harriet’s hard-working, committed, patient and friendly nature.  I now have the horse I bought originally back and he is feeling better than ever.  It is still a long road ahead, but I cannot wait to continue mine and his education with Harriet and I can now see us fulfilling the dreams I had in mind when I first bought him"

"Having first met Harriet a few years back at an Arabian horse show and having ongoing contact with her since I decided to ask Harriet to back my four year old gelding, Davanni.

I am pleased that I did. She cared for Davanni as if he was her own. Not only did I receive daily updates on his progress, including photos and videos, but I was also given the opportunity to have a number of riding lessons on him before his return home. Nothing was too much trouble for her.  She is a truly lovely young lady.

Now that Davanni is home I am so pleased with my decision. I cannot believe that he has only been ridden for two months. He “feels” so much more advanced. I believe this is due to Harriet’s schooling methods. She has a natural talent with horses and my trust in her has been totally rewarded. 

To top it all Harriet even cleaned my tack before Davanni came home!"

"We have know Harriet for 6 years and in that time she has proven, ten times over,  to be a professional horsewoman who has an exceptional talent with the Arabian horse. Harriet has a natural way with any breed of horse but to me the way she works with the Arabian is amazing with her calm manner;  she is a real winner!!  Harriet has worked miracles with our horses showing them to top standard.

Nothing is ever too much trouble for Harriet, whenever I have needed help she has always been there for me.  Harriet is currently working on my daughter's youngster whilst she is working away and schools our 13 year old regularly.   I would recommend Harriet to anyone ~ she is a true diamond!"

"After purchasing my first horse Bluebell, an 11 year old connemara x cob, I quickly discovered that she was not quite the 100% confidence giver that she was supposed to be.  In fact she was very green, stubborn and far more of a project than I'd bargained for.  To top it all she bucked when she was being defiant, excited or any other excuse she could find. After six months, including getting her back, teeth and tack checked, I had completely lost my confidence and was scared of getting on her.

Thank goodness a friend then recommended Harriet!

With Harriet's hard work and expertise the bucking quickly became a thing of the past and the progress Bluebell and I have made is nothing short of miraculous.  Bluebell has exceeded my expectations and is like a different horse. As for me, I have never felt more secure in the saddle and finally feel that I am getting to be the rider I aspire to be.

Harriet's patience, warmth and encouragement is outstanding.  Whatever we have thrown at her she has dealt with in good humour and she consistently gets the best out of both of us.  I have absolutely no doubt that without her I would not be doing the competing we are doing now in dressage, show jumping AND cross country!  We really are unrecognisable from the combination that turned up on her yard.

I simply cannot recommend Harriet enough and thank her from the bottom of my heart for giving me a life long partnership with my horse."

"I decided to send my new Arab Louis(PS Legacy's Picasso) to Harriet for some schooling earlier this year, This has always been something quite difficult for me having to intrust by beloved horses to somebody but Harriet made me feel I could trust her 100% from the start, she has a very professional manor and its very obvious she is very passionate about what she does and this put my mind at ease, while Louis was with Harriet she sent me some wonderful pictures of him being ridden and kept me informed of his progress everyday and I could immediately see the transformation in him. Louis also did his first Ridden show with Harriet getting a very respectable second place and we have a few more shows planned for him this season, I really don't think I could have achieved this result without Harriet's help so I am really pleased I sent him to her, I also plan to send my other Arab to her in the very near future and cant wait to see her work her magic again."

"We sent Audacious (AKA Owen) to Harriet at the end of July 2014 as a recently backed 4 year old with very little ridden experience. We could not have found a more perfect instructor for him to carry on his education. Within 4 weeks Owen came home more confident and ready to begin his ridden life. He lunges nicely; works well in the school and behaves beautifully out hacking. All thanks to the hard work and dedication of Harriet.

Owen was given the best of care and treated very well. He settled in with Harriet immediately and began his education the very next day. Harriet sent us regular updates and photographs of Owen’s progress and was always very welcoming when my husband and I visited. She was happy for us to watch her school and to give me lessons with Owen prior to bringing him home.

Owen returned to Harriet in March 2015 for a couple of weeks’ further training, this has helped to bring him back in to more consistent work after the winter.

Harriet is helping me carry on Owen’s education by coming out to my yard to continue schooling him and giving me lessons."

"Hi! We sent Aarishio to Harriet as he was in need of a little bit more schooling. He is a quirky little horse and needs a firm hand , as he had spent some time with Harriet last September, we knew she would work wonders with him again!
He would try anything to get out of hard work and Harriet knew just how to get it out of him, He was well cared for and treated like her own whilst he was with her, I visited him over the 2 weeks and was so happy with his progression.
When Aarishio came home, he was chilled out and had grown up, as well as looking in Tip Top condition. Happy Horse and Happy Humans! Couldn't Recommend Harriet enough, she works wonders and loves all her clients horses as her own :)"
